SentriLock: Call Before Showing (CBS) Instructions

A call before showing code (CBS code) prevents other agents from accessing a lockbox with the SentriKey app until they call the listing agent to obtain a CBS code. The CBS code is an additional code that showing agents need to enter into the lockbox before they can access the key compartment.

A listing agent may choose to use a CBS code to ensure that they know about any showings prior to the actual showing date and time. Prior to showing the listing, the showing agent must contact the listing agent for the CBS code.

As the listing agent, you can use the SentriKey Real Estate app to enable/disable CBS mode.

To enable CBS mode:

1. In the app, tap the three stacked horizontal lines ("hamburger menu"), then tap My Lockboxes.
2. Tap Call Before Showing.
3. On the lockbox keypad, press the ENT button to ‘wake up’ the lockbox. This will establish a connection with the app. You’ll see a flashing blue light on the lockbox.
4. On the popup screen in the app, enter your PIN or use Touch ID / Face ID.
5. Tap Enable Call Before Showing.
6. Once the lockbox settings are updated, you will see a Success! screen. Tap Done.

To obtain your CBS code, return to the app's home screen (tap the little house).

1. In the app, tap the three stacked horizontal lines ("hamburger menu"), then tap My Lockboxes.
2. Tap Call Before Showing.
3. Scroll up past lockbox image to see Get Call Before Showing Code and tap it.
4. Find desired lockbox under My Lockboxes and tap on it.
5. Tap Get Call Before Showing Code; the code and instructions will appear on the screen. You may share this information with another agent.

To disable CBS mode: 

1. In the app, tap the three stacked horizontal lines ("hamburger menu"), then tap My Lockboxes.
2. Tap Call Before Showing.
3. On the lockbox keypad, press the ENT button to ‘wake up’ the lockbox. This will establish a connection with the app. You’ll see a flashing blue light on the lockbox.
4. On the popup screen in the app, enter your PIN or use Touch ID / Face ID.
5. Tap Disable Call Before Showing.
6. Once the lockbox settings are updated, you will see a Success! screen. Tap Done.
