Purpose
If you are a member of a neighbor island Board in Hawaii, you can market your listings in HiCentral MLS.
The syndication option allows you to advertise your Client's property on public websites.
Please read and follow the directions below on submitting a reciprocal listing.
The Process
Reciprocal Listing Service requires you to provide us the application forms, the listing contract documents, and a payment of $62.83 [$60.00 listing fee + $2.83 (4.712% GET)]. The fee is for each listing submitted to us. When you submit an application, please include a name and contact information for payment. Once the application has been processed, our accounting department will call the cardholder. If you prefer to pay by check, please make it payable to: HiCentral MLS, Ltd.
We will input the listing into our system upon receipt of the completed forms and payment. You would not have access to our MLS to view your listing on the HiCentral.com website. If you want direct access to our MLS, you can subscribe to our service as a Participant (membership fees apply).
Other information:
- To include your email in your listing, you may specify that information in the “Agent Remarks” section. Contact information is not allowed in the “Public Remarks” section.
- If you want to provide a link to your website, we can put the link in the External URL field.
- You may include 25 photos (maximum) by attaching the jpeg files to the email.
- Be sure to identify which image is the “Primary Photo.”
- You may also include Supplements: 5 PDF files maximum. File size per PDF is 5MB.
- Virtual Tour media: If you have a video that you want to add to your listing, please attach that file to the email as well. The media must be unbranded.
Required documents/info for each property:
- Completed Reciprocal Listing Letter
- Completed 2-3-page Profile Sheet for the appropriate property type - All fields with an Asterisk * or (R) is a required field.
- Copy of the fully executed Listing Agreement
Your broker must sign the MLS Change form - it serves as an authorization for us to input the listing under the Brokerage Firm.
Upon receipt of all the paperwork, we will review it and contact you if more information is needed. Otherwise, the listing will be entered into the MLS, and you will receive an email confirmation upon completion. The average processing time is 2-3 business days.
A completed MLS Change Form must be submitted each time you want us to revise your listing. This includes changes to the listing status, prices, remarks, etc. You are responsible for all data changes once the listing is entered into our system.
For status changes, please submit the documents to the MLS Client Care Team immediately:
- Once an offer is accepted, the listing must be changed to “Active Under Contract" or "Pending" status.
- When escrow closes, the listing shall be reported as “Sold."
Be sure to comply with all the rules and regulations of the MLS. You may be subjected to penalties for listing infractions.
