Request a New Addition or Re-Designation of an MLS Neighborhood in Matrix
To add an MLS Neighborhood or to re-designate an MLS Neighborhood in Matrix, please submit a request to techsupport@hicentralmls.com.
In the request, please include the following:
- MLS Listing number(s)
- The TMK(s) affected
- Property Address
- As much information available to support this request
HiCentral MLS specialists will review and evaluate the request. If the request passes the evaluation, the changes will be implemented in Matrix and on the MLS Neighborhood Table.
If there is inconclusive evidence to support the MLS Neighborhood change, HiCentral MLS requires that the Broker submit the request along with a proposal submission with thorough justifications for the Neighborhood designation request. The proposal along with our findings are then submitted together for peer-review. The peer review group is comprised of Realtor professionals who specialize in the various communities. This process can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks, and you can submit the proposal and supporting reasons to us at any time at techsupport@hicentralmls.com.
With the proposal, please include the following:
- ALL TMK parcels involved
- The exact neighborhood name (as defined by the developer – if applicable)
- Detailed justifications of why the neighborhood designation change is needed and how the change benefits the entire MLS membership
- Any additional relevant details regarding the neighborhood
The process of adding or redesignating MLS Neighborhoods involves complex processes that require careful assessment, planning, and coordination with various stakeholders. This process is extensive and may take a considerable amount of time. Our team diligently reviews all aspects related to a request, including potential impacts.
