Input: How to Auto-Fill Building Name

If the building name you entered is not accepted, the spelling in MLS could be different or abbreviated, i.e., Waikiki Park Hgts.

Follow the directions below to auto-fill the building name in Matrix.

1. Click on "Input" from the main menu.

2. Select your listing under "Quick Modify" and choose from the drop-down menu.

3. Under Select Form, click on the property type link. i.e., Single Family, Condo/Townhouse, Rental, etc.

4. The system will take you to edit your listing. Under the "Additional Information" Tab, click the "Auto Fill Building Name Field."

5. Type an asterisk (*) before and after a word in the Building Name, then click Run Search. i.e., *waikiki*.

NOTE: Using the asterisk (*) is a wildcard to replace the missing information. If the full name is not known or the spelling is unclear.

6. Then click the "Run Search" button, the system will display a list of building names. Locate your building.

7. Click "Fill" link next to the correct Building Name.

8. The Building Name field will auto-populate.
